One 'Hell' of a long time ./////I learned early to escape the nonsense,.hahahah..back when the Canadian Dollar was worth more,..............hahahaha.Habs were winning alwaysSteamies & Smoked Meat,.& Pizza, & Beer,.and everything you wanted was ridiculously affordable....................................................................is that a long time ago........hahahahaha
'Cradle' Catholics who have decided they no longer believe in hell, know they're going there anyway.
Don't we confess as a group during every mass? (I confess to you almighty God, and to you my brothers and sisters that... etc.)
That is my understanding, but 'what the blank do I know'.
'What the Blank Do I Know' is a great documentary btw. I just watched the DVD and I intend on buying a copy. Quantum physics and beyond. Life changing film which helps me, just a little better, to define my own life in relation to God and this incredible universe which comes to -- the best I know is I don't know. Second Avenue.
Bill. Isn't that the truth. We struggle with our beliefs and our doubts on a daily basis. And what do we really know? We step out on faith..in anything we do. We have strong beliefs, SOMETIMES, and other times we waffle!!!! I feel that all we can do, is do the best we can, try to treat people with respect and love, and have some empathy with them. Laugh with them, cry with them, and let them know they are not alone. Just as we would like to be treated. And try not to judge.... Winston

Winston this film is opening my 66 year old eyes. If we look at the material world in a different way we may get a glimpse of what is real. This is what the film is about I think. The universe with us included, is made up of atoms. I always thought the atom was this dense particle, but no it's not even that. Its 99.9% empty space, and in these gazillions of extremely tiny inner solar system are electrons circling a tiny speck in the center which along with the electrons, literally disappears and reappears. So the bottom line I guess is there is no material world, it's all energy. Blow my mind!
The more I delve into my humble reality, the more I come away with a stronger sense there is a Supreme Power of the universe whom I choose to call God. I keep it simple however: K.I.S.S. Keep it simple spiritually. He/She created everything including us. Creation is the act of love, so we have been created by the act of love. Being a Catholic I see this loving God in the face of a loving Jesus, of which I fall way short of emulating, but that's my journey. I try to keep an open mind along the way.
SecondAve (Bill),..........I like this ine that you posted (I think you posted this )............it seems far easier to beleive.............. http://dingo.care2.com/cards/flash/5409/galaxy.swf Did you read this guys thoughts on the movie you mention? As a physics student, I've become aware of many idiot professors, and other so-called experts, in the field. As I continue with my studies, I learn more and more about real physics experiments going on, and about the people who are doing things right. You can post your thoughts (I think ) on this website, that you posted about the movie,.........(it seems to be an interactive comment site??but i'm not certain)...............Check it out if you like,...... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0399877/ I guess it's 'revues' from viewers,......in anycase it's at the bottom of the page,at the link immediately above this sentance.........
Bill I don't know what an 'ine' is either,...........it was supposed to say Link.......so much for being in the running still for the Spelling Beehahahahahaha................................
Yes Les I did post that Eric Idle song here. It was from a Monty Python film he was in called 'The Meaning of Life'. Yes I really enjoyed that video and the movie btw. Thanks for posting it again, I almost forgot about it.
I am aware of the viewer film comments on IMDB. I've posted a few myself if I felt strongly about a particular movie. One was 'The apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz'. Great site for a movie buff. I wont post a comment on 'What the Bleep Do We Know' ther at IMDB. Way over my humble head at the moment. I ordered a copy from Amazon so maybe after watching it many times I will make a very short comment. Second Avenue.
