Laurie that was fantastic! In 1986 my family and I were in Edinburgh, Scotland and we saw the tattoo. What a great show and the setting was terrific. It takes place in Edinburgh Castle. If the tattoo ever goes to your town or city try to see it. It is a fantastic show. Every year, end of June and first week of July, Halifax hosts a tattoo which is claimed to be the best tattoo outside of the Edinburgh one. We try to see it every year, and last year's was wonderful. If anyone is planning a trip to the Maritimes, that is a good time to come and you can see the tattoo. The week of the tattoo there are many free shows out and about downtown. Love those pipers!!! Amazing , these people are really talented . I love to hear the drums and pipes anytime and anywhere and these drummers are great.
