Anyone else unable to see the V.C. images today? all I'm seeing is a
square with a crossed red dot , in the center for every image.

Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.

Hi SecondAve: I also can't see any images and everything was fine yesterday morning. I went out for the day and late last night I noticed the problem and thought it was only me because I did an AdAware and then deleted a bunch of cookies and it was after that I couldn't see the images, many of which I had posted the previous night in my posts with Linda and Les as we were kidding each other etc...the usual banter....anyhow, I am glad it's not just me hopefully it's an MSN problem which they will clear up. My images worked fine in emails sent from outlook express.....I'll try to send one now...well when I try to attach an image a box appears with the caption " an error ocurred please try again"....so I don't know what's happening......Dianne
I also tried to look at the VC photo albums and the same thing has occured there too....Dianne
I'm glad you mentioned it, I thought it was my PC getting "ill" again.
I noticed the same thing late yesterday,...and sometimes had trouble opening any page and would have to do it twicw,.....usually the second shot worked,.......but even the photographs on Our opening page were not opening up,...........There is almost no use in asking MSN,....as I 've shown in the past their return e-mails are of te genric variety,.saying the usual ,.......were always upgrading our services ,..and blah blah blah,.......(I think it's code for ......we haven't a clue what's happening)..............hahahahaha Usually everything starts working again,.but yesterday even on other msn sites the pictures were sporadic at best,....some would open up normally ,.and the very next ones would not.........Server ??? At least it's web-wide (msn web at least),........See what happens today Well I'm off to the airport to pick up my step son from Edmonton ,.... HF&RV

Dianne, Seeing all your images reminded me of something my dad told me. He was blind, and he said that when people spoke to him they used to shout, yell or talk very loudly. His response to them....."you don't have to yell, I'm blind, not deaf". Well, your little thingies are sort of like one of Rod Stewart's (my hero) songs entitled "Every Picture Tells a Story, Don't It". Have a good day. Cheers.
Linda......We experienced a similar situation with my mom. She had throat cancer surgery and could no longer speak and everyone including her surgeon would yell at her or talk to her as if she lost her mind as well and she's get so annoyed, she'd write in her notepad ' I am not deaf, nor daft so stop yelling' . Poor mom....
