Hi all, my name is Albert Hurel and I wonder if there are any folks from my time at VHS, graduated 75? Also, any friends from Verdun in general?

Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.

Hi Albert ,....there will most likely be someone on here who knows either you or some of your old friends,.....where did you hang around,.....and who did you hang around with,...How long did you live in Verdun,.......all of those things may help to put you in touch with some old friends,..if not you will meet new ones,.......jump into any of the topics,.and if you have any old pictures from Montreal /Verdun etc etc ,...then I'm sure we would all appreciate seeing them,..........generally this group encompass's quite a wide variety of age groups,...but We all experienced the same things growing up in Verdun (or Montreal area),.....so We can relate to most things,.....so Welcome Again to the group,.........and Have Fun & Remember Verdun

Hi, I'm "new too" ! Didn't know which message board to go to,so thought this would be a good start! Not sure if I will have any luck though? Didn't see many members my age in the "members ifo "section! Anyway...does anyone remember the Rec, we had Saturday night dances there! Boys on one side girls on the other!! What age group are you in? There are probably plenty of others, it's just that so many don't "publish" their ages. We're all here to make connections, make it easier by sharing.

Hi Maggie, I'm 58.!!! I went to St.Gabriel's form 1st.grade until 4ht.grade .Then on to St.Thomas More ; and then on to V.C.H. Is it difficult to send pics to VC ? B.F.N. :)
queenee66, you should be able to open an album and post your pictures here at VC. Just click on "Pictures" on the left of the page, and then click on "create a new album", then follow the instructions as they appear. Once you are ready to add pictures, you can just choose to upload one at a time, and then follow the instructions as they appear as well. I look forward to seeing your photos.
anybody went to Crawfordpark School In Crawfordpark, verdun 1950-57.. Long time ago mine you..Started off with Mrs. Hamilton as principle. Years later the PAV dances..those were the good days.. Now we all are in our sixties and attending Doctors...Time sure flys..
Hi Albert, you photo looks familiar but not your name. We may have played some sports together. I played soccer and hockey, oh yeh gold too, but went to VCHS and grad in 1976.
I hung around Monteith with John Melanson, Mike Gilligan, Robin Hetu, Jamie Arazomichz, Ed Boyle just to name a few.
We recently had a 30 year reunion last September and it was a blast.
I lived on Allard next to the Carter's, Bim Little, and Bobby White, and Shawn Whitham until 1977 and then lived on Woodland for another year then moved to Oshawa, ON
