Does anyone know if the store at the corner of Rolland and Banantyne still there? Do they still have the lunch counter? We used to go there and get the fries in a bag almost every day. I remember in the summer they had the slush machine as well.

As I recall, we use to call it "Lowney's". Use to go there many a times for fries for part of our dinner, cheaper to buy them than cook them I guess
Lowney's was the name I remember - Thanks to Dzidawg1. Lowney's ice cream I remember that too. Probably how the store got it's name.
