To VC Members
I have been receiving several e-mails daily for about the last week, which
contain the Netsky.P virus & worm.
My Virus protection software has been catching same & putting them in
quarantine. To-day using new software the same thing happened, however this
new software identified the sender. The senders e-mail address is as
follows;
chris.faulds@sympatico.ca
I am wondering if anyone at VC is the sender or recognizes the senders
address. The sender may or may not know that he has the infection & is
sending it around. I do not know this e-mail address so it is safe to assume
it is not anyone known to me.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated & "Heads Up" everyone.

THANKS for stopping by, I do my best to acknowledge when someone leaves a comment,you do not have to be a member here & everyone is welcome. Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.

Thanks Tony for the heads up......I would suggest that to eliminate VC site as a relay point to your e-mail in box, you could change your settings to instead of recieving any VC posts via e-mail.....you could choose to only read the msgs/posts by on-line only , so you could bookmark the Verdun Site , and then go directly to it,and read any msgs. without even having to sign in,....and if you want to respond to a post, then you would only have to 'sign in' and away you go........ that would eliminate any chance of getting a virus , at least through this site..........Good Luck and Thanks Again.....I don't recognize that offending e-mail address, but perhaps one of our members might.....Great Teamwork Tony.......
