Corner Gordon and Bannantyne
Bob,
Here is the picture of the D챕panneur at the corner of Gordon and Bannantyne wich your parents used to own called Mados.
Thanks Guy, Changed a little since the days's of Mado's, I used to park my 49 Merc. and 55 Triumph, Tiger 110 at that corner, the landlord lived on the other side of the street and would of never allowed us to park next to the bldg. like the truck that is parked there now. Also the street was a 2 way street in those days. My folks sold it in the early 60's and bought another one at 400 Laguachetere, then they owned there last one on Bleury, somewhere between Lagauchetere and St Catherine, not sure of the exact location as I was away in Viet Nam while they owned that one. It was destroyed by fire before I could ever visit it. Regards, Bob G
I know that area well bob we had a place on Chenneville Street right near Bleury , do you remember the name of the restaurant on Lagauchetierre Street Jimmy
Hello Kung Fu, To the best of my recollection it was 1 or 2 streets west of Bleury and it sat ion the SW corner, the sign was Le 400 or The 400, Right on the corner, a parking lot was on the SE corner. Bob G
