Thought for the day/Thanks

Winston thanks for the "Hang in there" thought.... Today is Friday, & my
Cold/Flu/Under the weather is now departed. I am back on top of my game &
looking forward to the Weekend. My Brother is in from Thompson Man., that is
he's in Montreal & is planning to bring Mum down here to Southern Ont. for
the Weekend. We'll have a bit of a reunion party, as our Cousin is coming
over as well to hook up with not a few of us as we plan to watch a lot of
Football. The weather is still quite warm, anywhere from 5 to 10 degrees,
with a bit of rain in the forecast, but that's O.K. When I was younger I
Loved Winter as we had a "Shack" in St. Saveur, where we skied on Hills 68
through 72, in those days. Today my Girls are all grown up & gone & I don't
go Skiing anymore, so it's just as well for me to not have too much snow.
What a marvelous Winter so far.... I know the Snow will be here soon, but I
love the warm weather...... Am I alone in this? Or are their others who Love
warm weather even in the Heart of Winter....Brrrrrrrrrrr.......

Norman

Hi synergize (Norman),.......No you are not alone in appreciating warmer temps for winter (all winter preferably),........hahaha You are now experiencing ,what we've grown acustom to here in Victoria BC,... but we can't really complain,.yesterdays temps were +12 roughly,.and very sunny,....today ,a little grey & only +6 supposed to go to +8 or +10 later,... .........but were on the right side of the lawn,......so I suppose that makes it all Ok.......................hahahahah

I am sure there are thousnads of people who love this warm winter weather...me being one of them. It is mild and raining in Montreal today but what a pleasure to go out and not have to put on so many layers. Have a great day all . Donna

I heard a couple of days ago that 2007 is supposed to be a record breaking year weather-wise, all around the world.   Don't suppose it will help here in Canada either.  Out here on the Island we had droughts last summer, and ran out of water in our water reserve.  Remember, they shut down Tofino Resort as there was no drinking water.  And the fires all up and down the coast of Canada and US!   Not really looking forward weather-wise to some of the disasters that could potentially threaten  us.

Hello Donna,....I'm sure it's a nice change,.Remember how when spring rolled around, and being able to inload the 'heavy' winter coat,... but you have an advantage in Montreal, even if the Winter is a Snowy/Cold one,....You have that great Underground City,.......where you can roam around without the Winter Coat,.......... but your right Warmer is Better,.........(I don't miss Winter)especially when we get these little reminders of it every so often..........hahahaha

Never thought of that...now my day is not so happy.
