Hi Lynn,

I don't mean to butt in, but when I finally see a name that I know, I just want to wave a hello.

It's Arlene. Although we didn't really know each other, my parents rented one side of your parents' country home in Val David.

I remember riding your mini bike. I have some nice memories of my summer there, aside from the horrible tonsilitis.

I hope you are doing well, and it's nice to see a familiar name.

No I did not however this may surprise you but I have a relative with the
same name Brian Luker you are probably thinking about my great-uncle side of
the family which by the way I am looking for information on.

This is lynn Yetman my family had a house in
Val-David on Golden lake. I went there every summer since I was
seven.

It is a wonderful place in fact that's were I lived
before I moved here in North Bay 2 years ago.

Between Verdun and Val-David I had the best of 2
worlds.
My dad wanted us kids out of the city for the
summer. We would leave for Val-David the last day of school and come back the day
before school started. I would cry all the way there saying I was going to miss
my city friends, and then cry all the way home at the end of the summer missing
my summer friends.
That song "Sealed with a kiss" reminds me of my
youth
But oh that summer
LOVE>

Hello Arlene I am not the Brian Luker you are thinking about. The Brian
Luker you are problably thinking of is a relative of mine. But most of my
family went to Verdun High. My father George Luker , other than my
grandfather george might be the only part of my family you might know. But
if you have any information about my grandfather's brothers and their
families and his mother and father I would deeply appreciate knowing about
it, because I am looking for information.

Lynn. We use to go to Val David. We stay at the McGowans place. I have some 8mm movies of Val David and the lake. I had them transfered to VHS tape. What a great time we all had up there. It was one of the best times of my life. Winston (3rd avenue) Allison, Vancouver, Washington
