Hi Donna,  All is a well as can be. My wife did have a stroke just before Christmas. She is home now and going on with life. This was a major setback for her. She was already recovering from a brain tumour surgery and a post-op stroke. She needs a lot of care and with myself being handicaped it doesn't leave much time for Verdun Connections. Although I do try to read as many posts as possible I really don't post much these days. I am still trying to figure out where I know you from or your name anyway. I believe you may have went to school at the same time as my sister-in-law Darlene Geraldi. Danny

Danny. Thanks for your response. Life can be very difficult, and our hearts are with you. We wish we could do something to lighten your burden, but being so far away, we can at least pray for your renewed strength. Hang it there, and let us at least hear from you once in awhile. So that we at least know you are keeping up a little with Verdun Connections. Thanks. Winston Allison

Hi Danny, I am glad to hear that your wife is doing somewhat better...is there anything I can do ? I live in N.D.G which is not that far from Verdun , if you are still living there and will help if needed. I knew a Christine Geraldi , is that a relation to your wife ? Anyways, keep in touch and let me know if you need my help for anything .Donna

Winston, your right, life can be difficult and life is sure putting it to my wife and I. We get two steps forward and then bounce back ten. I do try to keep up with VC as time allows. It is truly amazing how this group has grown over the few years since it started. And it will keep on growing as people learn of it. Some days there are so many posts that even someone with nothing to do has a hard time to keep up with the reading. I think I read the first 15000 + posts but can't keep up anymore. Take care.

Hi Donna, Thank you ever so much for the offer to help. My wife and I are managing so far. I believe the government should help out much more than they do in cases where 24 hour care is needed and the person is remaining in there home and not in some kind of institution where it would be costing them 10's of thousands of dollars for the needed care. Life goes on.  Danny
