Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.
Maggie, I read somewhere that Norman Bethune was involved in social medecine in Verdun probably in the early 30s during the depression. I wonder if you heard anything along those lines. I've been trying to unhearth this part of his life concerning Verdun history. Guy
