Not sure of this information,....but old Robert G, Robert Gerard Goulet was born Nov. 26, 1933, in Lawrence, Mass. After his father's death when he was 11, his mother moved to Edmonton, Alberta, where he developed an interest in performance. He did a stint as a DJ on CKUA and sang in local shows. When he was awarded a singing scholarship to the Royal Conservatory of Music, Goulet moved to Toronto. ...........a no good Bruins Fan by birth only to move to a lower esteem team than the Bruins ,...in the leafs....... YIKES !!! Not sure if this is true or not,.but apperantly one of his biggest hits , was inspired by him running out of gas in his car, and he wasn;t certain if the car took Diesel , Regular or Premium Gas,..........this supposedly was the motivation to sing " What kind of Fuel Am I" ............. Can anyone verify this for certain.........................hahahahha HF&RV
I think Robert Goulet was American born but his mother was Canadian born.
