Woodland Ambulance
Does anybody remember the Woodland Ambulance. On Woodland West side, right next to the laneway that ran between Egan N Woodland Aves.
Hi Steve, That ambulance company was run by Bob Lesage. He was a friend of alanarchi and I. He sure new what he was doing. He also run the ambulance at a race track but I cannot remember the name of it. Danny
Bob Lesage ran the EMT service at Circuit Mt Tremblant... until the owners bulldzed them in. One weekend at the feature race, the ambulance drivers all put the rookie white triangles on the back of the ambulances.... really messed with the racer's heads! I think the last time I saw Bob was the night we set off the sirens on his ambulances at his indoor garage!
Hi Ed, Your mention of Gordie Shute prompted this message. Gordie passed away about three years ago. His daughter Brenda and I were good friends during our teens. We have reconnected and just had lunch together. Her mom is 91 years old and is living with Brenda. Small world.

Bob and I were friends as well. He was also involved with the Verdun Civil Protection (Old fire hall on Verdun ave at Osborne.)
Wow the old fire hall with the library upstairs, right? Now there is a memory. I used to go to the library just to see the firemen, ha ha
The old fire station has been very well preserved.........
