Hi Bob I,m Steve I'm signing in for Feb. from the sunny shore of Ottawa,Ontario.I slso went to V.C.H.S I started in eight grade the year it opened,1962 or 63! My brother graduated that year also, his nam is Dan.My sister Sue started the next year.

hey Mac I lived in Pointe Claire from 1979 to 1983. Behind Fairview Shopping Center on Hermitage funny ehthe off to Ottawa. Have fun in Feb. Do you Yahoo!?
Hey there "give me one" I sure do remember Murphy and Doyle. Do yo remember when we used to open bank accounts and deposit money in them? I guess this was to get us used to saving money. Well Murphy was in charge of this at one time and I went to deposit some money and he blew a gasket because I didn't make out the deposit slip properly. Scarred me for like. I still don't have enough money! And Doyle. Big guy. Iremember him reading a story to us one day. It was a fantasy about Ogres. He calle them "Ograys" Crazy things that stick in your memory. and then there was the principal, Mr. Malloy. Those were fun times.
Hey Give me one That's the one. I think my deposit the day Murphy blew his stack was $ 0.75. That might be worth a fortune now. Is St. Thomas More school still there?
I used to take the deposits to the bank at lunch time.It gave me extra lunch time. Iwas let out early to make the deposits since I lived onWellington N Wooland. Right to I.C.U.Sweets which is a hair dressers now.
Give me one Yeah, I know that all the Catholic schools sort of got merged into one main school system. VCH bit the dust I think. Steve, you were the "bag man" that carried the loot to the bank? An enviable gig! I remember getting a job to carry some church linens or something down to St. Thomas More Church one day. Me and a buch of others (can't remember who) and we dropped the white linens into some mud, but through some careful folding, nothing was "discovered"....at the time anyway. And speaking of St. Thomas More Church, I was doing some work in an office in Ottawa this summer (I live in Toronto now )and I met a lady whose last name was McGlynn. so, I told her I was from Verdun and I went to St. Thomas More and that .....and before I could say "Father McGlynn"....she jumps in and says "he was my uncle". a small world.
