Friends of Bill W.
Are there any friend's of Bill W. out there V.C. land? Buill
Hi SecondAve, Did you know Charlie Watt from 4th ave. He is the uncle of a good friend of mine and always put us kids on his shoulders. He is 6' 7" and we got the biggest kick out of it. He is about 65 years old. He delivered groceries for Gruman's on 4th and Verdun ave. in the late 50's. Dannyb
Dan, Alright! Ya I knew Charley Watt. He was in my class at Bannantyne school in 56 I believe. Mrs. Martin's class. Great teacher we really need many more gifted teachers just like her at Bannantyne and elsewhere. Charley sat a few desks behind me I remember. Very laid back 11 year old. Good penmanship I remember.
In regards to Bill W. and Dr. Bob, I met them when I was 35 and I'm 64 years old now. Small world. I plan to meet them once again in Toronto in June. How about yourself. Bill
Did one year at VHS..Gus Mcfarlane football coach was the english teacher.Ask him a question..look it up on page..so and so,,quit before year end..I did.
I met Winston Watt, who would be about 70 now. He moved from Verdun to Saskatchewan in the 50's with his 2 brothers (don't know their names). Small world.

Correction: Grade seven had to have been 1952 or 53. I remember Miss
Martin's class was a year after the coronation of Queen Elizabeth.
