40's or 50's Osborne St.
I was born in Verdun. I would like to know if there is anyone around from the 40's and 50's from Osborne St.
Small correction it was Osborne Avenue. Had an aunt, uncle and grandparents live there between Verdun and Lasalle . Visited often. Then, I lived with them for a short period in 1946, and made quite a few friends in that area.
Your name(Murphy) just rang a bell. Can't find a first name yet! Around that time ther was a Jimmy Gallagher, Bobby Collete(there was another brother (?) and sister Barbara, a family of McWhinneys(?). Girls ? Babs and a sister Gwen? Heather? (Boy the wheels are turning! Another week or so and they may mesh!) Hey! Freddie Pennell a good figure skater! Older than us guys. Maybe you can fill in some more. We had some great street hockey games then, Art
