VERDUN PAST

This afternoon the air in Verdun was balmy and smelled fresh reminding of that first day in spring when we would step out the door and suddenly know that all was right with the world. The kind of day you just wanted to sit and soak it in. You knew that all the good ttimes had arrived, bicycles, baseball and all the wordly pleasures were out there waiting. I might have got that feeling today except that next week it's going back down to 7 below. There's no question that the message Al Gore is giving is the right one. I suggest we all listen.              Ed
