Hi Ed ! Very good analysis. According to my ref., it’s a 1946 Buick Roadmaster Sedanet. http://www.motorlegend.com/coupe/buick-roadmaster/6,8763.html As you can see on this link, the 1947 is very, very similar to the 1946. Here’s the 1946 Buick Roadmaster Sedan. http://www.allposters.com/-sp/1946-Buick-Roadmaster-Sedan-Posters_i1001902_.htm JM
Wanna have a guess at this one (no cheating)...........hahahahaha it has a 'retractable roof,..........so that sort of takes the thunder away from those late 50's Fords,.......or some old European rtractables:Yup ,it's that old 'real familiar' 1941 Chrylsler Thunderbolt, hahahah It looks like a prototype for the Oscar Myer Weiner Car,...........I can't say I think it's stylish,...............Unless they are going after that 'Early Junkyard look'hahahahahaha I suppose it was somewhat futuistic looking ?????I cannot recall ever hearing about a Thunderbolt,..........but Chrylser did a lot of experimenting, and tried many different ideas,...and were actually quite leading in the way of good ideas...................
This one needs a little TLC,................I'd like to see that guy on TV who goes into a scrapyard,& pretends to be pick at random, a car that he uses his 'new improved car wax' on,...and presto (I like that word),.....hahahaha & Prestothe car is like it came out of the Showroom,......... Try it on this Buick
