I'm guessing on His Own Two Feet,.......like most Verdun (ites-ers) hahahahahha ...................................................................................................HF&RV
I am trying to Remember where there was a gas station like that,it looks like it's a B/A Station,......but the background is almost like Lasalle Blvd somewhere, but I don't recall that station there,...off to the right ,it looks like ,a baseball cage,on what appears to be a slightly elevated piece of land,.....would it be near the old Model School on Lasalle Blvd? one other thought it may have been somewhere near Bannatyne,..but the road looks to wide,. I 'll be watching for the answer,........Good One JMH........ "HF&RV"
The back end of the car behind the policeman appears to be a 49-52 Pontiac. The back of the car in the garage looks like a 46-48 Ford. Could it be Church and LaSalle where Model School used to be? Ed
Good analysis Les and edbro68 ! I remember that metallic policeman standing close to the Model School ... in the 50’s. It was located on Lasalle Blvd, west of the intersection with Galt. I also remember very well the B/A gaz station (now St. Hubert BBQ) on the SW corner of Lasalle Blvd and Church Ave. Also the baseball backstop, ... Concerning the description of the cars in the pic, edbro68 seems to be quite accurate JM
