This actually happened and I have never realized such a thing was
possible. My sister in law's nephew was married last week in
Philadelphia. Each invitee (100+-) attending the reception was given
a tiny box (few inches) at their table.
My question to you: What was in the box?

well, i was not there and i am very surprised that you are not familiar with the little box, it was a piece of the wedding cake, i am sure. so there ya go.
Wedding cake. Good guess but no cigar. The number of weddings I've
attended I can count on one hand, so its possible it's not as unusual
as I think it is.

Sorry Maggie. Not even close. It was something beautiful.

Hmmmm....you say it was something beautiful.....could it be something made of silver?....Dianne
Monarch Butterflies which flew away when each of the boxes were
opened. Too Cool!
That is cool and I'd never would have thought of it Dianne
Bill, That was a good one. How did they train the butterflies to fly into the boxes? Ed
I found out there is a company that will send them to you FedEx. You
have to refrigerate them until 2 hours before releasing them. The
cooler temperatures keeps them suspended somehow.
I'll keep this neat addition to a wedding in mind until I get married
again in another lifetime.
