Does anyone remember their Verdun telephone numbers that they grew up with? I remember ours, but I won't say it because I use it alot for passwords! I remember my grandparents numbers and some friends as well.
Have a great Canada day weekend.

I must be very old. Our first phone number on Woodland Avenue was York 5540. You had to ask the operator to dial it. When you picked up the receiver the operator said, 'Number please' York exchange building was on Church and York street behind the Churchill Tavern. Trenmore exchange was on Bannantyne from 1st to 2nd avenues. So where was the Pontiac building or the Wellington building? Which one was on the southeast corner of Atwater and St.Antoine? Ed
edbro68 My Grandparents on 4th Ave had a York exchange. On Riverview our first phone number was Trenmore 2681 and than later Pontiac 6- 2681 Ruth

Hi Claroleca, I remember your phone number, considering it was the same as mine hahaha. I guess being your brother helps, now I know your "secret" passwords haha. Mike
I remember ours: York 2987
I remember another one as well, Clerval 9 2316. Probably misspelled. I heard it a lot growing up but don't remember which of my mother's friends it belong to.
