Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.

I am also having a problem with the MSN sites. When I log on, or when I move from one message board to another, or just from message to the next message the screen on my pc goes black for about 30-40 seconds each time. A real pain in the patootie. Anyone else having such a problem? Any ideas on how to fix? Cheers, Linda
Might need to clean out your cookies and temp files..try that..

Hi Mom-1945. I think we all share your frustrations. Seems like MSN is going through some big changes when they converted back to free (and bigger) hotmail. I like to call it the MSN-o-pause........lol. I know my system goes funky on me after I've done some MSN or Wndows updates. Try beeaird's suggestion and clean out your cookies and temporary internet files. You can always try and contact them and they'll help you out or send you a patch (fix). To do this you need to open Instant Messenger, click on "Help">>>then "Service Status", in the new window click on "Help">>>scroll down to "For more detailed help", then click on "Contact Us". Follow the guide and explain your problem. They're a good bunch of folks there and they usually reply within 48 hrs. Hope this helps. Mac
