Doing the walk.
Anyone who had to walk from Rushbrooke school to the point to take industrial arts..Mr Waugh was the teacher??Lorne school??..Not to sure was only like 50 + years ago.
I had Mr Waugh back in 19 44 ish for wood working and had to walk there from Model School on LaSalle blvd, try telling kids that today, must have been at least 15 city blocks away , under grand truck railway and into the point , good memories Jimmy
"Jimmy" I too remember walking to Lorne School for Industrial Arts. When the spring came we would go by bike and we had to carry them up to the (I believe) the 3rd floor so they wouldn't get stolen. We even road them around the corridor. Mr. Waugh was a relative of mine (a second or third cousin-whatever). That didn't help my marks any. Art
