Hi cathart1, I think anybody that fished in Verdun knows of Torchy's wharf. I'm not sure when they broke it apart but its no longer there. And the boating club is still there. There is still a lot of activity on the river.You can ride the Rapids in a Raft with about another 10 or 15 people all summer long. Looks like fun but never did it. Danny
I remember the wharf, use to catch some nice size pike in the spring there. I was in Verdun lately and only one of the boat clubs were still there, none of the old shacks though
Wasn't the wharf build for the riverboat
