Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.

Thanks Les. I tried to join the regular way for hours months ago, but
cannot. Maybe because I have an Apple computer. MSN isn't welcoming me
with open arms. No big deal.
I can post but I have to be careful I send the title of the post
exactly as written. Even If I put a period after the title of the post
when there hasn't been one previously, I get a new subject heading.

Hi Second Ave. & Welcome! I also have an Apple (Mac), with mine I can't get
on MSN Messenger, but can Yahoo and e-mail so still have comunication.
Others in this group also use Mac, we are not alone.
Mine is only 32MB and one day I hope to increase it so I will be able to
access MSN Messenger.
Hi Bill SecondAve....... I can't see why the conputer itself would be the issue,but I too was and still periodically experience trouble logging on (or signing in) just to MSN ........as recently as the other day , it was taking an inordinatly long time just to open the first page, then if I tried to open a dialogue box , it just wouldn't do it...... very frustrating ( and you know me the shrinking violet that I am,only posting every so often.............hahahahaha ) I cannot see how it would matter as to the type of machine , rather than it being more of a peak use period through your Service provider?? but even with that I couls access any other website (including newspapers around the world) and I had no problem......just the MSN site........perhaps it's them that has an overlode problem........However......you could ask Apple (through their Tech. Help page,what they think) or you could try contacting MSN through one of their Help contacts,& see (who they both blame it on)........hahah Good Luck Bill & TinyTina as well ,if your having the samme problem........... Perhaps it is just Hit & Miss......next time I experience problems I'll mention it in the next post I make, & maybe others will be able to confirm a problem that they too had that particular day........
Hi all, Yup, had problems logging on also. Must have been the site, cause all other sites were not a problem. Seems okay now. Cheers.
The problem over the weekend was with MSN not your computer. I think that pictures to be posted must be in jpeg format.
Hi Les, Same trouble with logging on the other day. It can be very annoying. I blame my son for making the computer slow with all the spyware he picks up. I do that just for the fun of bugging him. And trying to teach him to run Ad-Aware SE himself and not leave it to me all the time. I guess I am dreaming. Danny
hi les, had trouble logging on to this site a couple of days ago. kept getting a white page instead of purple, but couldn't get on the posts. my son in law has an apple, and my other son in law who is a computer promgramer downloaded the new messanger for him but he had to get a net passport first. hubby talks to him on the pc all the time. patsy
