City of Verdun Provincial Championship rings
I am wondering if anyone out there might know how I can replace Verdun rings. I had three of them stolen from my house a number of years ago, and would like to replace them somehow. Thanks.
You might try writing to 'The Borough of Verdun" They may know where you can have a reproduction made. click on the link below. Good Luck! http://www2.ville.montreal.qc.ca/script/php/frameE.php?target=/newapp/servlet/newapp/template/NavPrincipalE.vm/racinecat/162
hey glen sorry to hear about your rings what souvenirs,i have 3 one each for hockey soccer and football, someone at city hall records dept might be able to help u there.if im not mistaken it was dube jewellers on wellington that made them .the were on church avenue back in the day. well i also have a said story about a CITY OF VERDUN ring. my grandmother recd a citezens award from the city back in the late 50's.the presented her with a gold city ring.when she passed away i inherited it.too young to wear it my parents keeped it until i was about 12 years old.the first day i wore it i lost it in the school yard at woodland school.my parents reported the loss to MR SIMPSON who was the principal at that time. his response to my parents was"WELL ITS ONLY A RING SOME KID PROBLABLY FOUND IT AND THINKS ITS FROM A CRACKER JACKS BOX".i hope u can somehow get yours replaced.GOOD LUCK BIM
