Any body remember the little restaurant around the cornor from 1st ave and verdun,
or the Hiway Snakes from the 50's.Looking for some old friends that hung around
there and also went to St.Willibrord school in the 50's.The poor police in those days
we drove them nuts, the only one thing they had going was they all knew were we lived just by looking at us.Then who can forget May the 24 all around 1st and second ave lane what a bomb fire we had ever year. So come on let me here from any body . I know your out there.

YOUR TALKING MY ERA. lIVED ON wILLIBRORD at 292. Went to St. W's grade &
High School as well as the French School 5th & Verdun for grades 4 & 5. HUNG
OUT ALL OVER THE PLACE BUT HUNG WITH DON SNOW 1ST AVE DURING THE VICTORIA
DAY FIRES ETC. Knew Teddy Jones from trhe area, in fact played a lot of
hockey with him. MY PROBLEM WAS MY BROTHER WAS A VERDUN COP from 3rd Ave &
YOU COULD NOT HIDE. GIVE ME SOME Names, etc.

Hi Tony I sent you a picture of me in your e-mail and my two brothers we were well known in and around verdun,we haven't change only got gray hair. What was your last name send it to me at ron@cyberglobe.net ok .Then i will get back to you. I did know Teddy and his wife and all her family. remember his first name,dick m..thats all i can remember for now.i remember the
cops ripping the creat off our jean jackets if they caught us.lmk what and

Hi Daveyp I sure remember Wayne from 3rd ave,and patty was a very good friend of mine we both had our first summer job together he pass away a few years ago i still see his brother allan around,as for Hunt his first name was Al, as for Dick M what a story we made in verdun when we broke all the lights in the ball park on 1st ave. You remember Pat Leonard,Bobby Neill,Terry O'neill. Leonardo's DannyNeason Brian Cleary , W. Wright , They were so many of us. I think the girls in the gang at the time were just as bad as the boys. Was nice to here from you.

the little restaurant you mentioned belonged to the Pilon's. They owned the grocery store at the corner and the son had the restaurant behind it. They made terrific hot dogs.
Hey someone mentioned the Holdbrook's - I worked with a girl who was married to Brian Holdbrook. Would this be the same family - he ended up in NDG.
Remember a Scott Holdbrook, think from Rolland Ave, will be around mid 40's now.
