Copiers & Catridges

Hey Les, I run off 100 copies a week for a project I'm working on. I am
charged 17 cents for a 2 sided copy. There selling a copier at Costco
for $350. Considering the price of cartridges maybe it would be cheaper
to continue using the copy store's machine. What do you think?

I have a Cannon S400 and recharge my cartridges myself and save a bundle. I also have an RX500 Epson 6 color. The cartridges have a chip on them and you have to recharge from the bottom and sealing the opening has been a problem. The verdict is out on this model.   Guy

Hello SecondAve (Bill) Does that translate to $884/yr...........cheaper to buy a printer.....even if you pais $350 for a printer,.....you could still buy,a lot of cartridges for the other $544 bucks.......and you'd still have a printer at the end of it all.

Bill ......figure out how many copies/cartridge you can get ,anf then the cost of the paper,as well as what your time is worth.......Might help you make a Better Informed decision...........If this is an on-going deal then it's most likely better to Own the Equipment.......and there are some really good deals on Printers these days..........but also get a quote from a local Print shop........you may make a deal better than .17cents /dbl side copy.........  COSTCO ........isn't always cheap. Have Fun & Remember Verdun.......you can Deduct My Two Cents , from the overall cost...........hahahahahaha
