There is a Nova Scotian connection to the Virginia school shooting. One of the victims was French teacher Jocelyne-Couture Nowak from Truro, Nova Scotia. She died in her classroom. She leaves behind her husband, also a teacher at Virginia Tech and two young daughters. Dianne
