Looking for Betty Corrigan and Pauline Isabelle. We all were best of friends and went to St. Willibrord's school 1951-58 when our family moved to Ontario. Would love to hear from them again. My maiden name was Melrose and we lived on Wellington Street near Rheaume. Susie

I went to school with some Corrigan girls Grace and Beverley they had older sister Marjorie and two brothers Kenny and Chester. Marjorie lives here in Calgary and I will ask her if Betty Corrigan is a cousin. We all went to St. Anthony's in the west end.
Hello Susie. Welcome to Verdun Connections. Keep looking for those friends, and any others you might be interested in. You might be someone on here that knows someone who knows someone, who knows your friends. Hope so.

This is great Sandy I have lots of old pictures I can share too as soon as I figure this all out! Happy Easter! Susie PS CKVL. Did you know that my Dad had bought a copy of the song we sang. He even put it on a tape and I had that until someone stole our old car and took that too! XX

Thanks, but Betty lived on Lasalle and went to St. Willibrord's.
I love the picture of us! Do you remember my great Uncle Henri Duhamel owned the Verdun Messenger and this photo was in the newspaper! Are you sure her name wasn't Delvecchio?
I remember Pauline and Betty and I won a budgie bird for singing "Moments to Remember". We had to share it 3 ways and the poor bird (Meme) died of constipation on the way from one house to the other in the dead of winter! I'm so glad I found you Sandra....I mean Sandy! XX
Was that Ann Baxter, the chubby girl on the front left?

Sandy, I've found the Classmates program to be a bit of a ripoff. I bought the program and emailled 10 people. Never heard from anyone. Ed
Ed you are right about Classmates. You can be a member and email everybody and their brother, but those people have to join also, to respond.

Ed, Maybe the person has changed their email addy, so perhaps you could leave a message on the message board for them. Might work and anyway, you have nothing to lose.
I believe the way it works, mom, is that the person you sent the mail to has to check in to see if they have mail. If they don't within a certain number of days it is cancelled. Ed
Yup guess you're right....but.....there's also a message board where you can leave any message you want, and it stays on there forever. So if the person has changed their email addy they can still log on and read the messages on the message board.
Sandy and Suzie, At least you got on Call Me Uncle. When my friend and I auditioned, they were located at the Poitne Ste Charles Boys and Girls Club and we'd go every Saturday. I think everyone sang either Que Sera Sera, Wayward Wind, Paper Roses or Goody Goody. We sang Goody Goody. I really loved to sing and that was my first rejection! sigh! I remember getting a 45 RPM by Dodie Stevens just for trying. Can't remember what the title was. Gail Baxter rings a bell. Although I graduated a year later than you Sandy from VCHS, did Gail have red hair? Dolly

If it had not been for Classmates (which I find more hype than substance) I would not have found Sandy! I can't tell you haw much fun I am having sharing ols memories with my husband about people I haven't seen for 50 years! Sandy, would you be able to send me the names of the rhythm band? That would be perfect. I hadn't thought of Theresa Cullen for so long. She had beautiful red hair too! :) BTW, I put some pictures on the picture link. I took most of them while on business in Montreal a few years ago. Happy Easter dear friend! Susie
Hi Sandy, No, I don't recall Theresa Cullen. I'm bad with names but never forget a face. Dolly
