St.Willibrord's may be an Irish Church but the best thing that ever happened to them was getting a wise Scot as a Priest. When Father Joe arrived St.Willi's was rumored to close but he sent Nuns to every door in the Parish (Church to Desmarchais) offering to Baptize babies at no charge and no questions. Verdun was crawling with unchristened children and they all came to give their children a proper name. The rest was history, he put them all to work. Ed
