Hello Bob,....there was a Walt McKechnie who played for Boston at one time in the early 70's,.......also we have a link to a Verdun Dance Studio,......and perhaps,(again a long shot),..but you the woman who runs it has been into dance for a long time,.and perhaps she was inspired by or may know of Rita ,..checkout the link to the left under 'links' and you will se a Verdun Dance Studio,....who knows the woman may have met or knew of Rita,....or you can clicj on this link,..and it will bring you directly to her site,...... http://www.danse501.com/ I also beleive the woman who runs this studio,.had a background in danse from Point Saint Charles,....and Montreal being a relatively small world for most of us,...you may also want to check or ask around on the Point Saint Charles site,.( which is also linked through our 'links',.section) the site is run by George McCrae,..and Wesley Dryden,.......so give it a shot as well...........Usually someone will be happy to help you,........but don't make yourself a stranger to Our Verdun Connections site,..as someone may just read this and be able to help..............Good Luck Mr Perry, and Have Fun & Remember Verdun
Walt McKechnie has a restaurant on the Main Street of Haliburton, Ontario. It's called McKech's Place. You may be able to track down your friend through him.
