Hi Guy, Great photos. Thanks for your time and effort in taking these pictures. Reggie Paine
Great photos, do you know what's at the Corner of 1st & Verdun beside the Legion it used to be Quinn's Texaco station. Can't tell whats there from the photo. Levis Sauve used to be the Gym Teacher for the Verdun Catholic School board in the forties & early fifties. Gordo.
Gordo, I do not know what's at the right of the legion at the corner of first and Verdun but I will check it out on my next visit in the area, most likely next Saturday. As for Lévi Sauvé school, you say he was a gym teacher in the 40's and 50's, now that you mention it, he must have been our gym teacher at Notre Dame du Cénacle school in the beginning of the 40's. He was a short man but very muscular, he was also a very disciplinarian individual and I recall him hitting a student in the gym for what reason I do not remember but I still recall the incident. Thanks for the information. Guy
Salut Guy ! J’ai eu Lévis Sauvé comme professeur de culture physique au début des années 1950. C’était en effet un homme très discipliné. Merci pour les belles photos. Mr L챕vis Sauv챕 was my professor of physical education in the early 1950s. He was indeed a very disciplined man. Thanks for the nice pics. JM
