I am looking to find cousins named Jimmy Ball or Billy Ball. Have not seen them since elementary school. I found a Jimmy Ball on class mates. com but so far have been unable to send any messages. If someone has any info on these names I would really appreciate it. Their parents names were Francis and Bill and when last I saw them they lived in Ville Lasalle on 4th Ave.

The last time I saw Billy Ball he had become a minister and the church he was at was the one on 3rd and Central in LaSalle.Hope this info helps you out.
Thank You for the informantion on Billy. I managed to locate the address of the church and will call and see what information I can get. Now if only I can find a way to e-mail a Jimmy Ball on classmates.com I would be so thrilled. For some reason I can not e-mail him. Any help with that one. Once again Thank You I will keep you informed on my progress.
Classmates - you have to join and pay the fee something like $36 to be able to send email - only those that have paid can send. I am not sure if you can post a message on the message board of the school that he is listed under or not but I know if he has not paid or you have not paid there will be no emails.
Thank you Shirley for the information. I tried to post a message but without a membership fee you can not post them. I have just sent off my fee how ever there is a 2 - 3 week waiting period. In the meantime I will be contacting the church in Lasalle where a Billy Ball was a minister. Jimmy Ball had an older brother by that name. Will be doing this today. I will keep you updated on my search. Once again thak you.
Anne - I sent Jimmy Ball an email through Classmates asking him if he had brother Bill and parents Frances and Bill and a cousin Anne from Verdun - so will let you know if firstly he even reads the email and secondly replies. Would the age group be right graduating from West Hills etc.

To Shirley BH2 Thank You for sending off the e-mail. Jimmy would be younger than me. I graduated from high school in 75 and his brother Billy would be one year older than me. I have a sister one year older than me by the name of Vicki. We would attend church together when we were young children. We attended Chalmers United Church on Church Avenue. The minister at that time was Rev. Scoates. If I am not mistaken his brother Billy was a prefix in Verdun High School. I hope this helps you a bit. Well for sure this Jimmy who graduated from West Hills is not the one you are looking for might be his father since the graduating year is 1957.

Thank You for that tip. I have already visited that site and they are my cousins that I am looking for. I even signed the guest book in hopes that one of them might look up that site. I even went and searched the phone directories but did not get to far with that.

Mike - well I have given up on classmates and trying to reach people especially third party people. I mean the guy I sent the email to could no way be "the" person since he graduated 20 years before. Also you send email via classmates - it must be too complicated because even when you warn someone that you sent an email they cant figure it out. You never get the email address from classmates - people I sent to do not have my email and when or if they reply I do not have theirs. The last few that I have sent the people did not even both to read the email let alone reply. I have had good luck sending emails to old friends who remember you and recognize your name - I guess for them the incentive is there to try and figure it out. I have only had one success that I can remember - a girl who went to St. Anthony's school many years ahead of me then to St. Gabriel's was trying to reach a friend from St. Gabriel's - the friend from St. Gabriel's responded immediately to my email and I was able to pass on the message and reconnect the two - both were very very very good friends and had been missing each other and lamenting the fact that they had lost touch - in cases like that it works otherwise it is a waste of time.
Anne, did you ever locate your cousins, Billy and Jimmy Ball? Is Robin Ball also a relative? He signed up at Classmates now and graduated in 75. If I remember correctly, he was a trumpet player.
There are sites where they will search for people for you and for a fee will provide the information a P.I. would normally be only able to get. Such as address unlisted phone numbers etc. Very intrusive but effective if you need to search for a family member.
Hi Anne, I belong to classmates.com I have sent an email to Jimmy Ball on your behalf advising him you are looking to get in touch with him, and gave him your email address, so hopefully he will. I don't know if Jimmy and Robin Ball are cousins, but I don't think so. I went to elementary school with both, Robin at Bannatyne and Jimmy at Bronx Park. I also remeber Billy becoming a Pastor too. I used to wlak home from school with Robin and his Grandmother back to third ave, he lived down the other end of the street from me. Robin married Carol Noel from VHS and they live in AJax. I bumped into him a few years ago a Costco. Let me know if Jimmy contacts you.
