I also heard that Buzz Beurling was born and lived on Church near Lasalle. If I can find out the address I will take a picture of the building and share it with the members.

Just saw your blog on Buzz Beurling. He lived next door to me on Rielle when he came back from overseas fpr a bond rally in Verdun. I grew up with him and his cousins. If I get any info on his birthplace I will send it. You might check out the book that was written about his life. J.B. California
I tracked the Beurling residences for a student last year through the Lovell Directory. His parents were listed on Church Avenue the year he was born. I did not keep the information but I do remember it being in the first block and I think it was in double digits (20s or 30s) I hope this will narrow your search (or mine). I did notice that they moved a lot, sometimes within the same building.
