Name that picture
I've noticed that many of the members here have quite a lot of pictures. In that vein, I've started this thread off. To start I'm posting 3 pictures. In picture #1, name the location. #2, name the site. #3, name the object.
I guess that little sign over to the right of the entrance that says Wax Museum entrance ,...sort of gices it away a bit.hahahahahaha I Remember this place had a Catacomb type tunnel entrance ,...kind of a good idea since it was close to the old StJoseph's Oratory,.....it was a neat old place,.................... HF&RV
.too bad in a way,.Cause with that elaborate Entrance or at least unique style entrance ,it would make a good dinner theater or even a new restaurant ,........ala the old Kon-TikiRemember the sort of arches they had,. ...Could be Kon-Tiki revisited,............. hf&rv
Well ;if the shot was from the inside looking out,and not much had changed over a 35 to 40 year span,.I think I'd have a better shot at guessing,..but seeing there was not one bar or private clun that I hadn't been in in Lasalle .////////I would have to say that even though the photo is rather dark-ish,...I would guess that ,the upholstered sewer in question, would have to be the Haraki........based on the shot being taken from across the street, and a boulevard of sorts appears to be separating one side of the street from the other,..and seeing the only street's otherthan Newman Blvd ,having an actual island blvd separating them ,was Shevshenko ,.( and of course Bishop Power ,on the lower side of the Acquduct) & Airlie ( was it? or 90th)......I can't Remember rightly ,all these years later,........but I will guess Haraki ,.seeing it would have been at that end of a very small mini-mall type of spot,.......Bert's would have had a separation Btwn. the little mini-mall ( where Mama's Restaurant was ,Miss Dollard for those who prefer the real name) & it's building which I believe stood completely separate of any adjoining structures........but I digress,..........What is it?hahahahahahaha HF&RV
