These photos were taken yesterday from the balcony on the 3rd floor of an apartment building at 4560 LaSalle Boul. between 1st ave. and Willibrord on a rainy day. The back of the buildiing faces Nun's island.

The buildings in the right background are on Nun's Island. The ground below is earth added on the shore line and was from the subway construction However the landscaping enhances the appearence.
Another view of Nun's Island. The are still trees on the island at least for now.
