palm harbor fl here we come
hi all,
i know you ,ve missed my postings, we are in the process of moving to palm harbor fl, so just do not have much spare time to post,
Will you still be on the Oceanside,.or nearer Lake Tarpon?(I think it's called) Guess you'll be escaping all that construction work ,near Indian Shores, was it the road they were working on or some sort of Pipe Project?? I can't Remember ,but I think we were talking about something like that a few months back, In anycase good luck with your move,..it's always more work than we think,... we're just going through the basement here ,and painting my daughters room,.and essentially getting rid of a lot of stuff, that has started to take over room by room down there..........hahahahah ...............................................................................................................HF&RV
les, thank you for your kind remarks, people think because you came from comfort in verdun it was not difficult, i beg to differ, i had polio during the epidemic, then lost my sight temporarily with scarlet fever, supposedly had rheumatic fever twice, later to find out it was a symptomatic of valley fever, and all toll missed 2 years of school. i started to run at 14 yrs of age, only. by the time i was 17 yrs my dad went into a wheel chair, the beginning of rheumatiod arthritis, 16 yrs of that, so i never really had time to hang out ,or date a lot. it was pay back time to the parents who saved my life, and a famous doctor, dr. arnold johnson from montreal childrens hsptl, who incidentallt passed last week at 92 yrs. poor health can be constricting for the young and mature, but moving through it with a good heart benefits one for whats ahead. i can tell you all ,if you want to help people that are poor, we have not known poverty, but i have seen it in the bahamas. we go there each year to raise funds to build homes for many families who have lost all in hurricane WILMA.its not all partying!!! there is no aid there. only generous caring folks that love the bahamian folk.i will promise to put some old photos together in the new year. these are very private photos in a family album that date back to my relatives on the barrett- maroni, side who came from lake como ,austria. the other side was bennett -caron. a wee bit o, history here. i was an implant there and here.... thanks , les, lake tarpon, your right on, next to innsbrook. keep warm, carolyn. ps the truth of the matter is i do not know how to put my photos up.
Well when your ready Carolyn,.(bahamas),.......let us know,& anyone here will gladly guide you through it..........it's easy but always concerning when you first start,....You can place pics in either the actual posted messages,or of course you can opt ,to have a Photo Album,.....your choice,.........as far as your previous post ,.yes you are right 'hardship' can & does affect everyone,...whether it be monetary,..or healthwise,.....it's never easy (usually not anyway)........but that's part of the test I guess,.........(I wonder if we will all pass the test.........I know for certain we will all 'pass'.........hahahahaEnjoy your escape, I have to say escaping from Florida to the Bahamas, does sound Ok.................hahahahahaAs far as living on the Golf Course,.....I always thought I'd like that, but I've seen a few wayward shots, (made a few myself),.......and thought maybe a foursome passing by every 5-10 minutes or so,might make it a little less private to sit on the patio (without a hardhat.......hahahaha)Have a good winter
