THANKS for stopping by, I do my best to acknowledge when someone leaves a comment, you do not have to be a member here & everyone is welcome. Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.

| (1) Class of 1956 - 50th Year Reunion We are planning a reunion of the Verdun High School graduating class of 1956. It will probably be held sometime between June and October of 2007, in Montreal. We have already reached about half of the graduating class and there is much enthusiasm. Would you, as a 1956 graduate, like to attend ? If so, please contact either me or Ron Meldrum. Also, please forward this information to anyone that you know from our 1956 grad class. Thank you | ||

| THE CLASS Every ten years, as summertime nears, I'll never forget the first time we met; It was quite an affair; the whole class was there. The men all conversed about who had been first The homecoming queen, who once had been lean, No one had heard about the class nerd The boy we'd decreed "most apt to succeed" They awarded a prize to one of the guys They took a class picture, a curious mixture At our next get-together, no one cared whether It was held out-of-doors, at the lake shores; By the fortieth year, it was abundantly clear, And now I can't wait; they've set the date; Repairs have been made on my hearing aid; I'm feeling quite hearty, and I'm ready to party Author Unknown |
