Does anyone know any info on the Verdun Reunion in Toronto this year? Place? Date? Cost? ETC.

THANKS for stopping by, I do my best to acknowledge when someone leaves a comment,you do not have to be a member here & everyone is welcome. Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.

Hi Cam3122,........it's always been in the Stathcona Hotel ,...on the first Friday of December I believe,......if you go and take pictures,......we lovew to see them posted here,.....noone posted any for the last few years,................HF&RV

I'm not sure that anyone really "runs" it. It is a standing date that was started, I believe, by the "Verdun Good Ol Boys". First Friday of December at the Strathcona.
I've been in Southern Ontario for the past 16 yrs & have attended about 4 reunions (last one was 2 yrs ago). I usually arrive @ 6:00PM & just mingle with old Verduners (ages-->20ish-60ish). The Strathcona (downstairs) will remind you of the old "Carb" from Alexis Nihon Plaza. It's one of the very few Bars that serve actual Quarts! Remember every 1st Friday in December. Earl.

Hey Bob Donny is my cousin now living in Winnipeg.He was in town with his son and stayed with me during the Jazz Fest.He's planning on moving back to Nova Scotia sometime next year. I lived on Rolland at 1224...went to school the same years basically as Donny (VCH) and then we both worked at CIP (Canadian International Paper) at the same time for a year and a bit. mumagain@hotmail.com should know some info. She's smart and knows everything. I on the other hand went to Verdun High 1978 - 1980 and I think all those who went there then either choose to ignore me........lol or are much too busy with life to bother with the site. Good luck! June

Hi maroonvet,......You can look through the photo album,..on page 5,...the last Photo Album,entitled 'Reunion 2002' I think it was,...and there are some pictures of some of the group who attended the 10th Ann. Reunion,....and it may give you an idea of the crowd,...and I would think that there will be some Ex-Pats,.of all ages,....if not you can start the 'new wave'......bring someone else with you as well,..( makes for a good reason ,to getway,.......blame it on the non-verdun (er, ite)........hahahahah If you do decide to go ,it would be interesting to here your feedback,......Remember to Have Fun & Remember Verdun
