Well seeing as my husband has 15 uncles and aunts in total, it would not surprize me if this was one of his cousins, he has over 400 of them and I have yet to meet about 10 of them, so it is definitely a possibility but he doesn't have any sisters (at least none we know of-lol).
Hello MadRealife,........that is one heck of a lot of relatives,.So I have to ask,all these familiy relatives ,must have some great photo's around of 'days gone by' from Montreal/Verdun.....................and with your wealth of computer knowledge,You could probably find some great 'Gems from the Past' re: Montreal ,Verdun......if you do have access to old pics ,..then we would be very Aprreciative,to see them. also ,I understand from some of your posted msg's ,both here & on the Point St Charles site,.....that you have a great deal of knowledge ,of 'How To' stuff on a website...........if so ,we would always welcome some thoughts or suggestions on interesting ideas of improving (may not always implement them) but would still appreciate ideas: We are never too old to hear some new ideas: "Have Fun & Remember Verdun".............................and Best regards from the Westcoast..................................................................
Thanks Les, funny that you should say that as I am quite the "historian" if you will, (most people don't know that about me) I have been tracing family trees, collecting as much information and photographs that I can. I guess I believe that places like these groups are our only legacy (unless of course you happen to be rich and famous) and these groups are our link to our past. I am always open to help anyone who needs it. There are alot of great resources on the internet and its not just a big "playboy" magazine that alot of people use it for. Not to say thats its wrong (its a personal choice) but I have used the power of the internet to meet hundreds of people, learn new things and connect to family and friends all over the world. It is alot easier than people think, it just takes patience and as alot of IRISH people like me have a hard time with, putting your pride aside to ASK for help. Most "computer savvy" people love to help others and offer thier knowledge, Sharon will attest to that I am sure. Anyway, to make a long winded rant short, I will gladly add some of my "interesting" finds to the site.

Hi Donna, yes Ross and I have been together for 23 years now, officially married in Novembe. Rick and all were there, we had a blast. Hi Diane, well unfortunately I didn't end up going myself, but I heard rave reviews about it. Everyone I spoke to said they had a great time. There was a video taken as well, I will ask Gail for a copy and try to upload it to my site so everyone can see it. I too would like to know who else has some stories to tell. I was reading some message from someone who said, why does it always have to be reunions, I agree. Why not just have a Verdun, blast from the past party for anyone who wants to go. Heck, I will even organize it myself. Any takers? Madeline
