Some beautiful girls in those pictures. I can see why you are all so proud of your grandchildren. Those Verdun genetics are showing up all over the place. I am not surprized. When I was growing up, Montreal had some of the most beautiful and glamorous women that anyone could wish to see. Winnie - I dont think it was the hormones. When I moved to Calgary things were very bleak style wise unless you like the very casual look. Montreal women just know how to dress and groom themselves - I had a women stop me at the farmer's market here and ask me where I was from - I told her that I live 5 minutes away but originally from Montreal and she said I knew it.
Thank you thank you everyone, Maddy is an angel, she has a kind heart and is as beautiful on the inside as she is out. My other "angel" is like a Mac truck going through a China shop. Abbey is smart witted and sharp tounged and sarcastic, which sends us into fits of laughter. She told my daughter-in-law, "Mommy you're pretty"...Robyn said, "You think Mommy's pretty", Abbey replied "Yep, pretty ugly". We laughed, Robyn was upset. Ask them if I'm their Grandma and they will both tell you no. I am either Goddess, seriously, (that kills my kids) or Nan. Maddy will even tell you when asked, that Nan is 29. Train them young people..train them young Ha Ha

That is too funny! When we first moved out here my brother took my sister and I out. We were of course dressed up in heels etc. No one asked us to dance. I asked my brother what was wrong, and he said they probably think you guys are hookers because the girls out here do not dress up to go out. I don't think I even owned a pair of jeans that I would consider wearing out at that time. To go out in Montreal you dressed properly, even if it was to the store! My daughter gave me a gift cert. for Mother's day to buy casual clothes, like capris or something for my trip home in July. This was with strick orders not to buy dress or business clothes.
