Golf get-together in Nova Scotia

Every Autumn a group of ex-Verdunites have been gathering at KenWo Country Club in New Minas, Nova Scotia for a little golf and a lot of socializing. I'd like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to anyone who may be visiting Nova Scotian on Sept. 16 to join us.
Also, if you have any friends or family that have moved out this way please pass on the invitation to them.
New Minas is located in the Annapolis Valley at the western end of Nova Scotia. A long ridge known as the North Mountain seperates us from the Bay of Fundy. Close by is the town of Wolfville, home to Acadia University. The Annapolis Valley is one of the oldest settled areas of the New World. Grand Pre, site of the deportation of Acadians in 1755, is a few kilometres east of here.
I can be contacted at 902 681 0787 for more information. Or, email me at michaelbarclay@eastlink.ca.

Don't forget to visit the Grand Pre Winery and the Tangled Garden, which specializes in jellies and vinigars made from herbs grown on the premises. We spent the day there and had a wonderful time sampling.....Dianne
