I know this is a little after the fact, but I am a fan of George Carlin and
that message seemed to be out of character for him. The article regarding New
Orleans was NOT written by George Carlin. That same message has had several
names attached to it & Carlin vehemently denies writing it. In fact he was
recently on TV with Bill Mahr and expressed his sentiment for the people of NO
and his opinion was the complete opposite of that message. You can get the

Hi Alan Archie,.....thanks for that link to the Urban Legends....etc etc...... Oddly enough another 'Interesting' piece attributed to Robin Williams ( which appeared on this site,a few weeks back) was not written by Robin Williams either,...it too appears on the link you posted,.........So I guess we should all ( as in Real life) ,take everything with a grain of salt,....before either siding with or condeming............hahahahaha ...........HF&RV
