home of my grandparents within which was successfully raised 7 sons
and daughters, one of which was my dad. Great stuff.

I have just been corrected. It seems Goose Village was not a part of
Griffin Town. My grandparents lived on Grand Trunk Street in the
Point up until 1900, then moved to G.V. as the family grew. Great
article though.

steve, great site but nothing on mrs. oliver caron centanarian from goose village. andrew collard had written a beautiful portrayel of her life around 1988. she was born 1828-1929. i cannot find more on her at the mccord site. she lived at 93 forfar st. hope your easter was great. carolyn bennett
