Aussi, la rue Bond est devenue la rue Évangéline. Hi Guy, Thanks for the pages, it is well appreciated. I take notice that Jeanneau & Tougas was then installed on Hickson (before moving on Wellington) Bond St. is the former name of Evangeline St. JMH
Jean Marie, J'ai demeuré sur la rue Bond, maintenant Évangéline au début des années 30 ( je suis né en 1930) donc je connais le secteur. Le nom a changé en 1937 d'après l'information trouvée à la SHGV. I lived on Bond St. (Now Évangéline) in the beginning of the 30s (I was born in 1930) so I know the sector. The name was changed in 1937 according to records found at the SHGV. Guy
