hope some of the verdunites will be here for the tall ships and the 40th anniversary of the french arriving in nova scotia. we expect 30 ships here, acts from louisanna, france, quebec and acadians. halifax is very resonable to come visit, the people are over friendly and hospitable. check out the nova scotia web site. if anyone wants more info email me at pginn@eastlink.ca. hope to see some of you here. patsy

I'll be there, but then I just have to come from NB. Last time they were in Halifax my friend and I were one of the escort sailboats which would greet the incoming ships in the outer harbour and lead them to their berth. A great time!

jim this years visit of the ships is going to be even bigger than the last. french entainers are comming from france, louisanna quebec, and all over the world. also this year for $10.00 you can buy in advance a three day boarding pass for the tall ships i have to get ours next week. i also remember the sailboat escorts. my daughter has a lot of ships on video. see you there patsy
