Hi Popdog,...I 'd be interested in seeing the progressive pics of your stepside Chev,  Sive you like stepsides, here's a picture of me with, a 58 Aapche ,that I got from a freind of mine ,for my sister (in Vancouver),..this truck is the wrap around rear window,.and has a front end clip from a Vette ,.with a 327 4 spd,.....I tok the truck ,and changed the rearr-end,.and had a Tilt Wheel Steering Column, put in as well,......the truck is Burgundy w/black burgundy and black interior,....I got the steering column from a 70's Olds 442.........   the truck now sits in my sister's garage ,& has not been driven for the last 5 years.........this pics from 2 years prior to that,. I also still have a complete Power Train from Motor to Rear End, BigBlock that I have been hanging on to since I had it built at Claude Primeau Speed Shop in StIsidore (just on the other side of the Mercier Bridge,......I have had thoughts of putting it into a Short Box Chevy/GMC,....or StepSide,...but it would return a greater profit to me if I could find an original 69 Chevelle,  like it came out of........but these are all ongoing projects ,I keep getting older but I still keep all the stuff.........hahahaha  Teresa is not that fond of my keepsakes........hahhahaha .........and just for good measure I still have this in my garage with a 350 lt1 ,4bolt,  that 's needs some updating re: Paint & Body,..(last painted in '88).......... but many other things seem to be ahead of these old pastimes.........  ..66 now sits in the Garage quickly becoming a shelf and storage space,.............. That's a nice looking work area you've got there,........No shortage of tools either,..that's cool.....................Good Luck with your projects, hope to see some pictures ,.......Your sure doing it right.........and that is important......... Priorities ...........MamaSan says do something else before I play with cars again,.......but our daughter finishes high school this soon,..and then she's off to college,......so maybe then...........HF&RV

So his friend thinks about for a second and then says   "Good Trade" hahahahahahah            Your a Funny Girl Maggie.........hahahahaha

Hi Popdog,....If you want ,I can let you know ,if something ahows up out here,....Our vehicles here are in unbelievable shape (most of them),...and old cars & trucks are driven as everyday drivers,........I've seen a few 56 Chevy Stepsides around town,.....I'll also post a picture of my buddy's 67 (or68) Fleetside Shortbox ,....this one is very nice too !,......but I'll either e-mail.///or post any pics if something pops up,.......You never know.....what's around,....and I usually don't forget,.too many things so it's now in my automatic memory bank........That 58 Apache in the picture is my sisters,...a friend of mine who owned a Jewellry Store out here, had it,.and my sister always wanted one (same year she was born ,blah blah blah),.........so the deal was made,.......it still sits in her garage............ .....................................................................
