do you still get a lot of snow in the winter. I remember growing up in
Verdun the snow being plowed around you car on both sides and spending hours
shovelling a spot especially on the avenues. I lived on 4th at the time.
When we bought our first home in Pierrefonds we had a garage under the
house. The first year several times you could not see the door for snow.
Here in Winnipeg we do not get much snow. There is little skiing except
cross country. As I get older I guess the only good thing about the cold is
you do not have to shovel it.

lol oh yes we still get our fair amount of snow and the plows still box the cars in and we need to shovel our way out.lol..or    you just shovel out the driveway and    down the street comes the plow and leaves you a mountain of snow ..that you need to shovel AGAIN lol......................but we all love the "snowbabies" right people..hahaha

to say that the weather is screwy is an understatement. Last week the
temperature was between +6 and +8 each day. Today it was +8 and Monday is
supposed to be +10 and sunny. We have not had rain or any snow for weeks.
July, August and September were the worst I have seen in 25 years in
Winnipeg. Normally we have had at least one storm already. This year I am
not complaining and I celebrate each good day. Hope things improve at your
end

Weather is screwed here too! Didn't have a summer to speak of...went from winter to waiting for spring to waiting for summer and then to fall. Rain and frost hampered farmers in August and September gave them snow. Now, in November, the combines are working to get the last of the crops in. A mild winter would be a blessing now. Bring on the SNOW!

Hi folks, A nice sunny "Good Morning" from Vancouver Island.  After several days of stormy, wet, rainy weather up here in Comox, it's absolutely beautiful today.  Almost like "the second coming of summer", hehe.  Sure wish we could share some of it with the folks on the other coast.   Cheers, Linda
