I know this site was designed to allow former
Verduners to communicate with each other but it can also provide some good
to the communities in which we now live. I suggest that we use the power of the
internet to combat heinous crime in our community beginning with the recent
murder and dismemberment of Holly Jones in Toronto. The ISP's say they are not
responsible to inform police when customers are using the internet to access
pornographic web-sites but was as private citizens are responsible and in fact
can be charged by Police if we know of crimes and do not report same. I say we
begin by sending our respective ISP a message telling them we support Police and
they should/must report such conduct. There is a huge difference between looking
at adult photographs than child photos. This is not an invasion of
privacy on the law abiding user, it is catching those people and stopping child
pornography.

addicted to child pornography. He spent hours looking at such sites then one
night grabbed this young child who was on her way home off the street, sexually
assaulted her, murdered her and dismembered her body, a gruesome crime. The
internet service providers say they have no responsibility to identify such
web-site users. This activity is illegal no matter where we live
now.

I think the newspapers over do things, its reached a point that I don't even like reading them anymore, not sure if re hasing here on our site is important , however thats my opinion.
